Finding Emo

I am looking forward to high school next year. The only problem is that I will probably get lost. Hopefully, other people will get lost too, because then I wont be the only one thats lost. I also like how we will have block scheduling. We get an extra day to do our homework, which is good in case you have a lot of it,

We have Martin Luther King Jr. day off because it is the anniversary of his assassination. Schools close to honor the death of a very important person in history. He was a visionary who had a dream that all races were equal, even though this put him and his family in danger.  In his famous speech, he said, “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.” Unfortunately, back then, there was a lot of racism. Luckily now, all races are treated equal.

I think that the idea of this movie is that you can never tell what is in the future. When the girl was describing a cell phone, even her parents thought that she was crazy. People laughed at her as she read her essay to the class because they thought that the idea for a cellphone was ridiculous.  I think that this shows that you cant predict what will happen in the future because new technology comes out every day.

An influential person in my life is my grandfather. He taught me to stand up for what is right. he told me a story that when he was little, him and his older brother were being bullied. They stood up to them even though there was 3 of them and only my grandfather and his brother.  It almost turned into a fight, but the kids parents stopped it before it got bad. This story taught me to stand up for myself because if it did turn into a fight, they could have gotten hurt, especially since the 3 kids were older than them. Even though they knew this, they still stood up for themselves, and I think that was pretty courageous of them.

I wonder if the world will really end in 2012. I hope not because I would only be 19. I saw on some TV show that somebody predicted the world will end in 2012 and all his other predictions were right.

I know it already passed, but I needed something to write about, and this is all I have. I went to my grandparents house and we saw all our family which isn’t always fun. After we ate, my brother left and went to the basement, but I didnt because my parents always say to be sociable with my family. Eventually, I went down to the basement, and my brother had my  cell phone and he was prank calling one of my friends. When he saw me come down, he thought I would yell at him, but it was too funny to be mad at.

My brother showed me this and I thought I should show everyone else. its about a unicorn named Charlie
